As we move further into 2026, the season is gaining momentum across our products, partnerships and activities. The past months have brought valuable interactions, practical insights and continued progress that support our focus on reliability, performance and long term cooperation.

In this edition, we share an update on the mobility scooter season and reflect on our participation at the Naidex exhibition together with County Batteries. We also put the LPCF12-170 in the spotlight, highlight how we are supporting local education through our CSR efforts and look at the performance of the LIQUI MOLY Dynavolt Intact GP team as we head toward the TT Assen in June.

The mobility scooter season is well underway

As spring moves toward summer, the mobility scooter season is clearly in full swing. More stable weather means scooters are being used more frequently and for longer trips, increasing the need for reliable and consistent energy solutions.

In March, we took part in the Naidex exhibition together with our local partner County Batteries. We look back positively on this participation, which gave us the opportunity to connect with visitors, partners and users and to exchange insights on mobility and real world usage.

For mobility scooters, our EVX line is particularly well suited. These batteries are designed for dependable and consistent performance and align well with the needs of users during this active time of year.

Product in the spotlight: The LPCF12‑170

Lead Carbon front terminal battery for long‑term performance

The LPCF12‑170 is a 12V / 170Ah VRLA Lead Carbon front terminal battery, developed to deliver stable electrical performance and long service life in demanding operating environments.

By combining Lead Carbon technology with a robust VRLA design, the LPCF12‑170 offers enhanced cycle durability compared to conventional AGM batteries, while maintaining low internal resistance for reliable high‑current performance. The front terminal configuration supports efficient installation and serviceability in professional battery systems.

The battery is designed for operation across a wide temperature range and features a sealed, maintenance‑free construction. Consistent build quality and certified manufacturing processes support reliable performance throughout the product’s service life.

Supporting local education

As part of our CSR ambition, Landport has recently supported local education initiatives with a focus on inspiring the next generation. We donated surplus dummy batteries to Munnikenheide College, where they are now used in the logistics and transport practice programme. This gives students hands on experience with realistic materials.

In addition, one of our colleagues gave a guest lecture at Dongemond College, highlighting the wide range of roles and opportunities within an importing organisation.

This initiative reflects our commitment to the Louwman CSR theme Everyone counts, by encouraging young people and supporting their development, regardless of the path they choose for their future.

Intact GP shows strong form in 2026

The LIQUI MOLY Dynavolt Intact GP team is enjoying a strong 2026 season in both Moto2 and Moto3. In Moto2, Manuel González has been the benchmark of consistency with five podium finishes including two victories. After six races, he leads the championship with 104.5 points and an 18.5 point advantage. Teammate Senna Agius has also impressed with two race wins in Texas and Jerez and currently sits fourth overall.

Moto3 started more challenging due to injuries, but the team has responded with resilience. After returning to action, David Muñoz secured an impressive third place in Barcelona, while David Almansa finished fifth. Both riders are now firmly positioned in the championship subtop, underlining Intact GP’s competitive strength in 2026.

As the European distributor of intAct batteries and a long time supporter of the LIQUI MOLY Dynavolt Intact GP team, we are proud of these performances and look forward to the TT Assen in June, where we will support the team from the sidelines.

We are taking the next step in preparing Landport for the future. On Friday July 3 we will be carrying out a mayor system update. As a result we will be closed for orders on that day.

This brief downtime allows us to improve our processes and serve you better.

From Monday July 6 we are live again and fully available.
