EICMA 2025

This year once again, Landport was present at EICMA in Milan, the international platform where the future of the two-wheeler industry takes shape. A market that continues to evolve rapidly, with a strong focus on performance, sustainability and reliability – precisely the factors that make the difference for you as a professional towards the end user.

During EICMA 2025, visitors were introduced to our latest generation of lithium batteries and the complete LP Batteries Powersports range. Solutions that not only deliver maximum performance, but also contribute to a more efficient product range and reliable operation throughout the entire season.

Our colleagues engaged with both existing and new partners about practical applications, logistical reliability, technical support and compliance-related topics. It is precisely this combination that allows you to rely on continuity, speed and a partner that actively thinks along with you in your market.

EICMA 2025 was once again a strong and valuable event for Landport. We will be present in Milan again in 2026, with new insights and solutions. We hope to see you again then.

BEBAT: Adjustment of BEBAT contributions and codes

It was recently announced that Bebat, the Belgian battery collection organisation, will implement a general increase in its contributions. This is the first increase in 13 years. As Bebat itself states: “The cost of living has increased, and so have our costs for collection, sorting and recycling.” More information can be found on the Bebat website: www.bebat.be.

For customers for whom Landport handles the Bebat declaration, this means the following:

From 2 January 2026, adjusted Bebat contribution amounts will appear on our invoices for Belgian customers.
The customer contribution for lead batteries will be €0.20 per unit (excl. VAT).
The customer contribution for lithium batteries is higher and depends on weight.
